๐️ A Year That Held a Decade: My Memoir in Seasons (December 2024 — November 2025)
“To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven…” — Ecclesiastes 3:1
❄️ WINTER (December 2024 — February 2025): The Silence Before the Sound
I began this year, 2025 not with noise, but with a kind of holy hush from December, 2024. As December 2025 whispers the closure of one decade, and of my 20s, of many hidden years — it does not merely mark an ending, but quietly crowns a season of my becoming. In the stillness of winter, I came face to face with the soil from which I was formed: Akatsi-Torve. Humble beginnings, sacred roots, and ancient rhythms.
There’s something sacred about starting in obscurity. Medical school, faith battles, poverty’s shadow, and the stretch of becoming — they all taught me that growth often begins where visibility ends. Like seeds under snow, this season asked me to remember deeply before rising publicly. Obscurity, I’ve learned, is not the absence of destiny — it is the womb where destiny is refined.
To my younger readers: never despise your hidden seasons. The snow does not deny the seed; it protects it. It shields what is sacred. It deepens the roots. It prepares the ground for an unveiling in due season.
๐ธ SPRING (March 2025 — May 2025): Becoming Again
Spring came — softly, surely — with shoots of destiny breaking through. March, 2025 marked the full bloom of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, where Ghana met the world in me, and I met myself again in purpose.
I stood in rooms I once prayed to find, but I carried there a gospel deeper than ambition: We are not sent to shine; we are sent to serve.
This was the season of cross-pollination — faith and policy, medicine and governance, youth and wisdom. From every lecture to every sunrise devotion, I see the hand of God weaving Africa’s future and renewal through our lives as young people.
To my mentees: you don’t need a stage to be significant. You need soil. Be deeply rooted, and you’ll blossom when the world needs your fruit — not before. Hidden seasons are holy ground. Growth in silence is still growth. Let God form you in the secret place before He reveals you in the public space.

☀️ SUMMER (June — August 2025): The Weight of Light
Summer brought heat — not of harm, but of harvest. Speaking engagements across continents, research breakthroughs, and youth summits bore witness to what God can do with yielded excellence.
It was also the season of weight. The responsibility of influence is heavier than the pursuit of it. I discovered that global impact without spiritual grounding is a wildfire. But with Christ, it becomes light that guides individuals, families, societies, and nations.
Leadership is not a crown; it’s a cross. I lead initiatives not as one who has arrived, but as one still dying daily to self — so that Christ may live through my life, and through culture, policy, and systems.
To every emerging leader: you were not born to compete; you were born to complete God’s purpose in your generation. That’s your true assignment. Influence is not measured by comparison but by obedience. Stay in your lane, stay in your light, and let purpose — not pressure — define your pace.”
๐ FALL/AUTUM (September — November 2025): Legacy in Leaves
And now, here we are — on November 30, 2025 and in December 2025. The leaves fall, not as loss, but as legacy. I release this year like Moses gazing over Canaan — not with regret, but with reverence.
Fall teaches us to let go — of ego, applause, and even the platforms we once fought to build. What remains is essence: Christ in us, the hope of glory.
“So, to every reader who has journeyed with me through this remarkable year — 2025, through the refining fire of the past three years — 2022 to 2024, and across the unfolding tapestry of the last decade — 2016 to 2025: thank you for walking with me through the becoming.”
๐ Final Words
Let your winter form you,
Let your spring grow you,
Let your summer stretch you,
And when your fall comes,
May it find you pouring into others what heaven poured into you.
May your life be fruitful. May your hill rise.
And may your light reach the ends of the earth.
